In a quiet corner of the Irish countryside, young Cáit, a shy and withdrawn girl from a neglected family, is sent to spend the summer with her distant relatives, Seán and Eibhlín. In their gentle, sunlit home, she discovers warmth, patience, and a sense of safety she has never known. Slowly, she begins to open her heart, learning about care, loss, and the threads of belonging, even as quiet sorrows linger around her foster parents. 

Through small gestures and unspoken moments, the film tells a gentle, thoughtful coming-of-age story with quiet emotional power.
