The film follows Murra, a withdrawn Indigenous teenager living in Western Australia, who is sent on a photography road trip for at-risk youth. Reluctant at first, she joins a small group led by a well-meaning social worker, travelling through striking desert landscapes.

As the teens document their journey, Murra slowly opens up, forming tentative friendships and gaining confidence behind the camera. Confronting her troubled home life and sense of dislocation, she begins to see herself differently. Through creativity, connection, and country, Murra discovers a fragile but growing sense of identity, belonging, and hope for the future.
