Porco Rosso, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, soars across the Adriatic skies between the World Wars, following Porco Rosso, a former Italian fighter pilot mysteriously transformed into a pig. A cynical bounty hunter, he duels daring air pirates while evading the shadow of rising fascism. When the American pilot Curtis shatters his plane, Porco joins forces with Fio, a gifted young engineer, to rebuild it.

Amid thrilling aerial battles, tender romance, and quiet reflection, the film weaves a story of honor, freedom, love, and resistance, blending adventure with a gentle melancholy and poetic beauty.
