It’s here again! The St Kilda Film Festival is visiting Camperdown on Sat 18 June, 7:30pm at the Theatre Royal. Join us for a screening of 13 short films hand-picked from the festival for you to enjoy. Tickets will be available at the door for $17 and refreshments will be included. 2016 is going to be a big year for Corangamite Film Society – as well as presenting our well loved “Thursday Pictures” series, the “Sunday Screenings” will continue with yet another fantastic range of classic films. Throw in the St Kilda Film Festival and a film festival of our own and we’ve got an exciting year ahead! We hope you can join in the fun and share some films (and some food) with your friends.
Our final Sunday Classics screening will be held at 2pm on 22nd November, 2015 at the Theatre Royal – and it’s a double deal! “The Plank” (1967) and “It’s Your Move” (1979) are two classic comedies that are sure to lift your spirits and bring out a chuckle or two. Bring $7 and a friend and you’re sure to have a good time!
The next in our series of classic films is ‘High Noon’ – come along to the Theatre Royal on Sunday 27th September at 2pm to join in the fun! Tickets $7, available at the door.
For the month of September, Laffs will be donating $1 to the Corangamite Film Society for every purchase of a SALE item. We thank Laffs for the their support of Corangamite Film Society and the Camperdown community in general.
Don’t forget that ‘Brief Encounter’ will be screening this Sunday, 26th July at Camperdown’s Theatre Royal from 2pm. Tickets $7 – available at the door.
Save the date! Corangamite Film Society AGM will be held on Thursday 20th August at the Camperdown Courthouse, 6pm – 7pm. Come along to have your say into how CFS runs; fresh ideas are always welcome! A new committee will be elected – nomination forms to be made available closer to the date. Join us to make CFS the best it can be!
