Their disappearance prompts a frantic search by the island’s eccentric adults, including Scoutmaster Ward (Edward Norton), local police Captain Sharp (Bruce Willis), and Suzy’s parents (Bill Murray and Frances McDormand). As a storm approaches, the children’s adventure challenges the rigid structures of the adult world, blending whimsy and poignancy in a tale of youthful rebellion and first love.
